| Its a dive WATCH -- but thats the LEAST of its benefits. Its useful
as a log and recorder of DIVE-DATA, start/stop/sit time, temp every 5
minutes, depth every 5 sec., max/ave of depth for dives. You can retreive
the SUMMARY data (directly from the watch) of the latest 30 dives. |
|
There is a web page with some dive computer reviews on it. Try to
find it for good data, or hit up a pile of dive magazines to compile
a list of features and where there is/isnt information. |
| Heres some information on Citizen models from the
ftp://ftp.netcom.com/pub/ca/cader/scuba/ site. As far as mail order,
you can get a Citizen Hyper Aqualand from Mr. Diver (800) 532 2228
for $295.95 + $6 shipping. |
| I presently dive with my good old tag, but Im dying for the Omega
Seamaster. BTW, I wouldnt dive with a watch rated at 100 M or less
(ie: Brietlings are great, but Ive given up on them because of
100 M rating (except for the Brietling Colt)). A guide I was given
by a watch shop specializing in dive watches goes like this:
30 M: wash your hands with it.
100 M: swim in the pool.
200 M: Dive to 100 ft (30M).
200M:Dive to your hearts content. |
